Not giving up… is vital to achieving your goals

When I think back over the last decade and then the decade and a half before that. I can clearly see that there’s one component which seems to create the difference between successfully achieving my goals and wondering what happened!

For all of the occasions that I have achieved, it has been because I was relentless in my intention and my determination to succeed. Looking back I am so grateful for the intense stress and pressure that I experienced in my youth, as those challenges pushed me through experiences that required my utter commitment in order to make it out the other side.

The gift I gained during those experiences was the knowledge that I can pull myself through the mud of unwanted circumstances and out into the desired. It also taught me that you have to keep on keeping on when everything seems to be failing, because you never know when success is just around the corner and within fingertip reach.

I learnt how to build a framework of visions to keep myself motivated and build a plan that I could visualise and work towards. So no matter what you are going through there is a light at the end of the tunnel and ultimately if you take control of your mind you can ease the pain of the current and move it into a thing of the past.

This has proven true for me in both physical, emotional and business circumstances. So it seems probable that our mind, our perceptions and our determination hold the keys to our success. Add to those a clear plan which is consistently executed and I would bet that success will be achieved.

Over the next few weeks and months I will be interviewing people who have been through touch challenges and experiences and who have succeeded. My goal is to then share their stories and experiences so that we can all benefit from their experiences and understand what it takes to achieve.
