What search tools should you use when forming your strategy?
If you are looking to create an online strategy to grow you business. Then you will want to do you research.
There are plenty of tools to choose from and dependant on the task you may need to compile from more than one source.
In this post I outline what tools I use and why you should use them.
So before I go into what tools I’d recommend, lets just quickly run through why you should use these tools.
- The purpose of your research is to finely tune into your target audience, so you have to have a top level understanding of what you have to offer and the type of person who will be interested in it.
- In order to engage with your target audience, you need to understand what interests them and what their pains and needs are.
- Once you have a good understanding of who you are going to be targeting and what types of queries and content will appeal to your target audience then you should look into who is currently answering those queries and what type of content are they producing.
- Finally what do you have to offer and how can you answer those queries and effectively, competing with the competition.
